We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our St. Petersburg, FL office.
Job Summary
The role of the Quality Engineer II is a diverse role that will enable you to work on an award-winning, market leading, enterprise security and compliance product. In this role you will be able to make major contributions to the Digital Identity Intelligence® products. Responsibilities include assisting with requirements, design, and developing and running manual test scripts to ensure high quality products. As part of the Product Engineering Team, you will be empowered to enhance our customer service through product improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the FairWarning platform is secure, scalable, and easy to use through a constantly growing set of quality tests
• Write, correct, and complete manual tests with limited guidance
• Consistently follow and contribute to stated best practices
• Full participant in the estimation process for new tasks
• A motivated individual contributor who learns quickly and makes steady progress towards working autonomously with some feedback from more senior engineers
• Participate in Product Release Management through attending daily scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and end of cycle meetings
• Execute basic to moderate SQL and Linux commands for navigating through data and systems
• Contribute to Continuous Integration Testing through the creation of new tests
• Support production customers on an as needed basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of related experience in software development or product development environment with a successful testing and/or analysis track record
• Know the concepts of Agile development/testing
• Ability to work in team-based setting with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to write and modify test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Strong teamwork skills, but can also work quickly and independently
• Can perform many concurrent tasks
• Possess an exemplary work ethic
• Creative problem solver and analytical thinker with attention to detail
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Linux commands
• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools) preferred
• Experience with SSH preferred
• Web application experience preferred

This position offers a s alary range of $ 74,8 00.00 to $126,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives).
