Quality Engineer II - FITS 065

For Engineering services in the Quality area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s degree or role in Engineering & three (3) years of exposure within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Shift: 1st shift (8:00am- 5:00pm), and according to business needs.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (verbal/written).
• Experience in:
  • Validations (IQ,OQ,PQ), TMV. 
  • Statistical Analysis.
  • Generating SOP. 
  • Compliance and Technical writing knowledge.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests.
• Perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
• Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
• Specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or development.
