Quality Engineering Manager

Job Location: WTC, Tower 5, Floor 2, Kharadi, Pune
Job summary: Ideal candidate should be a hands-on Leader with expertise in testing process and products, should have proven experience in driving processes from inception to closure. Experience in health-tech domain will be preferred. He/ She will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our products in the healthcare domain. He /She will lead a team of talented Quality Engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for HiLabs Product Lines.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Quality Engineering team.
• Define and implement robust testing processes and methodologies, review technical requirements and designs.
• Oversee the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure thorough testing of algorithms and healthcare applications.
• Stay up to date with relevant healthcare regulations and standards and ensure product compliance, provide feedback when needed to make sure policies and QA best practices are followed
• Make recommendations for minimizing repetitive errors and improving processes
• Collaborate with compliance teams to support submissions and audits.
• Work closely with development and delivery teams to ensure quality is integrated into the product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand quality requirements and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of quality processes.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to product quality. Develop and maintain risk management processes.
• Implement tools and metrics for monitoring product performance and quality.
• Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms for real-time quality visibility.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing Quality Engineering team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Desired Profile: 

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields from premium institutions. Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably in the healthcare
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and test automation.
• Proven track record in establishing quality processes for the product line.
• Thorough understanding of STLC & SDLC & agile methodologies & should be proficient in Jira tool
• Understand the architecture used in HiLabs, like Big-Data, Java, microservices, etc.
• Experience in Manual/Automated/Performance/Security testing, understanding of automated frameworks & techniques.
• Excellent in development and execution of test scripts
• Excellent understanding of Rest/Soap API testing
• Good knowledge of accessing and configuring Databases
• Experience with automated tools like selenium, BDD and its tools
• Knowledge of web servers like IIS/Tomcat would be plus
• Working knowledge in Agile/Scrum environment, Performance/Security testing
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards will be preferred.
• Excellent leadership, people management skills, problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration abilities with Onshore & Offshore stakeholders.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ, ISTQB) is a plus.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Project management – ability to plan schedules, define tasks and track progress.
