The overall compensation range for this role is market driven, with an hourly rate of $27.00 - $40.00 (per hour). This market range is based on our base compensation. Additionally, we offer Cala Health company stock options and a robust benefits package. This offering is aligned with our overall compensation philosophy.
The Opportunity
Cala Health is seeking a Quality Technician to support our Quality Management System (QMS) and join our growing team. The role will report to the Director of Quality.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Perform Complaint Management activities, including data entry, analysis, investigations, and other actions needed to process complaints from start to finish in accordance with applicable procedures and the requirements of 21CFR820
- Assist with CAPA process activities, including data entry, investigation, corrective and preventive action planning, verification of effectiveness, and CAPA record closure
- Complete assigned tasks in other QMS processes including but not limited to document & change control, QMS training, equipment management, nonconforming material control, and quality records
- Support the returned product process in collaboration with the operations team
Desired Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a Quality Technician to support Cala Health in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, exemplified by:
- Minimum of B.A. degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Quality Assurance/Control in a manufacturing company
- Experience working within an FDA QSR complaint Quality Management System (medical devices) strongly preferred
- Flexibility in working in a fast pace, dynamic environment
- Strong computer skills and experience
- Strong interpersonal, analytic, and organizational skills
- Process orientation when planning and performing work
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds
