About the Role
The ICapital SIMON Platform Quant team has been providing industry-leading analytics that help financial advisors and investors understand the risk/reward tradeoffs, the lifecycle, and characteristics of their Alternative Assets investments from individual products to aggregated portfolio insights. The team is result-driven and client focused, consisting of difference makers and problem solvers to research, define, and implement models that aim to provide the best-in-class product analytics and risk management. We collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX and other software developers to deliver the most robust and scalable solutions for our clients.
The Quant Developers have a core mission to deliver product and portfolio level analytics to drive the firm’s commercial platform for financial advisors and end clients. We welcome team members withs critical thinking skills, sound understanding of mathematics, computer science, and statistics and machine learning. We look for candidates with desire to learn and to make a difference in improving the investment experience of financial advisors and eventually the general public.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable quantitative financial models and collaborate closely with product managers, sales, business stakeholders to deliver the best products for our customers.
- Develop cloud native and scalable applications to power the firm’s commercial technology platform
- Document and communicate quantitative methodologies and design proposals in clear and effective manners to others including stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure risk analytics are delivered through the software platform with excellent user experience.
Qualifications
- 3+ year of professional experience in quantitative financial modeling, data science, or software development
- Expertise in implementing statistical analysis, machine learning, or financial modeling, and proficiency in full-stack software development.
- Fundamental understanding of financial products such as Stocks/Bonds/ETFs/Indices.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Knowledge of JAVA/Scala/C++ is a plus.
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
BenefitsÂ
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $155,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
