Quantitative Developer

IEX is looking for a talented Quantitative Developer to join our matching engine development team.

Using knowledge of C/C++, Java (in a low latency environment), Python, and Shell as well as Linux and Git, lead research and product development related to algorithmic trading in U.S. equity markets. Evaluate new technology projects to understand technical benefits and assess feasibility. Maintain knowledge of U.S. equities market structure, quality of execution, and exchange order types as well as U.S. market micro-structure and its regulatory rules (Reg NMS, ISO, dark pools).

Requires: Master’s degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or a closely related field and one year of experience in job offered or in quantitative analysis in the equity trading industry, or bachelor’s degree in the same fields, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in field, which includes one year of experience in the job offered or in quantitative analysis in the equity trading industry, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Requires 2 years using Python or similar data analysis language, and 2 years using Java or similar objected oriented programming language. Salary range: $136,500.00 to $255,000.00 per year.
