Quantitative Engineer II

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for technology motivated, organized and self-driven individual to join our Quantitative Strategies Group as a Quantitative Engineer. The Quantitative Strategies Group is responsible for researching and developing cutting edge mathematical models and applications to enable the fintech capital markets and strategic direct lending businesses. We are looking for candidates passionate about building tools in a scalable

 What You’ll Do:

• Design and deliver quantitative tools and capabilities
• Build new capabilities and maintain existing code infrastructure
• Create customized python modules and packages to enable model development capabilities
• Build optimized algorithms to ensure fast model engineering on big data
• Rapidly create and maintain web applications tools that scale tactically with business needs
• Develop programs and tools for back-testing models
• Work closely with stakeholders to provide automation on analytics for quantitative strategies

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Financial Engineering
• Ability to understand client needs and build quantitative tools to match them
• 1+ year of industry experience in programming
• Excellent programming and software development skills using object-oriented programming [python, C++]
• Ability to work with ReactJS, Node, JavaScript
• Experience working with and developing APIs
• Desire to learn full stack development using AWS services – Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Kinesis, QuickSight
• Strong experience using Relational & Non-relational, NoSQL databases
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills; Ability to multitask and adhere to short deadlines
• Understanding of Fixed Income Market a plus
