Quantitative Value Analyst

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in a data analyst or quantitative role.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Python or R), database languages (e.g. SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning including supervised and unsupervised learning, experimental design, execution, and measurement.
• Experience in a strategic and financial role that focuses on interactive manipulation and analysis of large datasets in SQL.
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholder influence and navigating ambiguity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000-$151,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Deliver analytic work within the newly created Value Analytics team within Analytics and Decision Support.
• Work intimately with YouTube's Strategy and Finance functions to support strategic and financial decision-making for the core ad-supported business, direct-to-consumer (DTC) products, and new products and businesses.
• Work with stakeholders across Business, Product, and Marketing, for all strategic and financial analytical needs.
• Solve business, financial, and strategic problems while executing and delivering analytical projects.
• Collaborate with business, product, and marketing analytics and data science teams and build longer-term team analytical assets while contributing to the broader team culture.
