Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is looking to add a Quantum Senior Data Scientist to their talented team of caregivers. As a Quantum Senior Data Scientist, you will:

- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques, high-performance data architectures and technologies to address complex business problems and analyze large, unstructured data sets.

- Design, implement, and champion data modeling and advanced analytic methods.

- Assist in providing guidance to the data scientist group.

- Provide guidance to Department, Institute or Regional Hospital leadership.

- Participate in developing best practices.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes methods in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AL), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL),Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design and implement data solutions.
  • Builds complex predictive models, mix models, attribution models and other mathematical or statistical models as needed by using modeling tools.
  • Develops methods, novel algorithms and/or high level data analysis that integrates implementation, visualization and database management of multi-dimensional clinical or biological datasets.
  • Serves as a team lead to the Principal Investigator, providing training, mentoring and instruction to other lab members in tools and data analysis.
  • Communicates and presents research findings to Principal Investigator, greater research community and forums.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Research Data Scientist I Education and Work Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.

Work Experience:

  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar.
  • Master's or PhD degrees in related fields may offset the experience requirement.

Research Data Scientist II Education and Work Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Master's in similar fields strongly preferred.
  • PhD in similar fields is preferred.

Required Work Experience:

  • Must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning.
  • Highly proficient with programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, r similar.
  • Master's degree can offset 2 years of experience
  • PhD degrees in related fields may offset the experience requirement

Research Data Scientist III Education and Work Experience:

Education:

  • M.S. or PhD in computer science/statistics/software engineering/bioinformatics or related field. Candidates with B.S. and 6 years of related experience may also be considered.
  • Masters degree in related field may offset 2 years of experience
  • PhD in related field may offset 3 years of experience

Required Work Experience:

  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of related experience, working with statistical modeling, machine learning or complex data analysis
  • Highly proficient with programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Master's or PhD degrees in related fields may offset the experience requirement.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • In some locations, ability to move up to 15 pounds
