Description
We are looking for a data and operations centric individual to join our Revenue Operations team as a Quote Desk Specialist. The Quote Desk Specialist reports to the Quote Desk Manager and works closely with our Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Accounts, Legal, and Accounting teams. Through your attention to detail, process oriented approach, and drive to make things work efficiently, you will help remove roadblocks for the sales team during the quoting process in an effort to accelerate deal closure.
You will act as the initial point of contact for Sales reps requiring support for all commercial related activities including, but not limited to, deal structuring, contract creation, pricing, review and approval for offers, contract management and providing support to sales reps for quoting purposes

What You'll Do
  • Work to guide and direct quoting, pricing, deal flow, and order processing to ensure sales transactions are quick and efficient
  • Work directly with sellers to ensure they are able to get their deals closed efficiently and accurately
  • Provide guidance to sales on complex deal structures
  • Review and correct records for accuracy to ensure compliance with published sales and business policies
  • Partner with Accounting and Legal to ensure every quote is audited and approved through the appropriate channels
  • Supports Deal Desk team in a sales support channel to provide general assistance and advice related to common deal and CPQ process questions
  • Manage the day to day contract creation and deal approval processes in the Quote Approval and Opportunity Approvals queue, consistently maintaining response time
  • Support ongoing team and cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements
  • Experience with standard and complex Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) configurations and custom pricing
  • 1+ year(s) of Quoting or equivalent revenue/sales operations experience
  • Experience working with pricing models to achieve accurate pricing
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Accounting, and Legal teams to to make sure all requirements are met
  • Ability to balance heavy request loads with varying complexity
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to process improvement
  • Support and flexibility within a growing sales environment
  • High level understanding of how quotes translate to revenue
  • Proactive communication skills and track record of setting and executing on clear, realistic deliverable timelines
  • Demonstrated success with the Enterprise SaaS, B2B and B2C Industry - Deal Desk, Order Management, Software Provisioning, Finance Operations, Legal, Sales Operations or Pricing experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in Salesforce and Google Workspace
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition and business rules for software sales and order operations in ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a self-directed manner, work in a deadline oriented environment, with schedule flexibility specifically during End of Month, End of Quarter, End of Year sales cycles
