Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quote Engineer located in Buffalo Grove Il.

Reporting to the Manager of Program Management the Quote Engineer role involves

What a typical day looks like:

The Quote Engineer will be responsible for follow all necessary internal documented processes required for quotes Participate in Quote Strategy / Attend Kick-Off calls. Detailed technical review of customer documentation as necessary.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Medical device mold manufacturing experience
• Experience in the electronic manufacturing environment
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business
• Complete the detailed Cost models for each quote, ensuring correct processes, content and verify all assumptions with Business teams and operations
• Build and manage relationships.
• Site engineering resources Check & balance of manufacturing site and sales team to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Here is some of what you'll need:

• Bachelor degree
• 7 years' experience in plastic injection mold building industry
• Medical device mold manufacturing experience
• Experience in the electronic manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• Experience in plastic injection molding industry
