THE ROLE: Specialist, Quote

Job Summary:

As a Specialist,you will be responsible for sourcing quotes from Cisco and distributors executing quote development for run-rate business.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require any travel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Presidio Inside Sales team to provide customer transactional quoting support
• Support the sales process by accurately and efficiently producing customer-facing quotes
• Ensure that quotes and proposals include all related terms, conditions, and agreements
• Perform critical QC functions: reviewing RFP/contract terms, applicable credit and SOWs
• Maintain complete ownership of a quote through the entire sales lifecycle of the opportunity including all revisions and updates
• Comply with internal quote process workflows to ensure that quotes are reviewed and approved prior to delivery to the customer
• Source accurate quotes for both Cisco run-rate business and from other Presidio vendors
• Validate vendor quotes for run-rate business to ensure accurate pricing and maximize margin
• Provide other ad hoc quote support to AM, Customers, and Presidio internal parties as needed
• Partner with specific vendors to quickly and accurately source quotes
• Understand and enforce Presidio sourcing policies and preferences
• Work closely with the Deals Desk to ensure all registrations and other pricing incentives are leveraged
• Validate quotes against contracts for SLED customers
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve quoting and related processes

Additional Desired Skills:

• Participate in sales operations meetings as required
• Assist with New Hire onboarding support
• Receives work direction from department leadership; however, is responsible for prioritizing his/her own work by sales allocation, date needed to fill and logistics of work order
• Additional responsibilities as required

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree required / Bachelors preferred or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 2+ years of experience
• Proven experience in the Sales quoting
• Flexible schedule to assist in resolving high-priority issues during peak periods
• Proficiency in the English language and reading comprehension
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software applications (excel, word, etc) and online sales and quoting tools
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure/solutions manufacturers in the enterprise space
• Must have knowledge of sales cycle process
• Strong customer service skills with a continuous service orientation focus
• Ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization
• A drive for achievement and effort, attention to detail, adaptability/flexibility, analytical thinking, dependability, initiative, independence, integrity, persistence, self-control, social orientation, and stress tolerance.
• Excellent communication skills.
