Job Title:

High Voltage Switchgear R&D Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop HV switchgear products and solutions to meet all requirements for functionality, performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability.
• Engage in product development process, including concept, design, prototype, test, documentation, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
• Collaborate with cross-functions in design and solution development, including product management, quality, production operation, SCM...
• Design and create 3D models and 2D drawings proficiently,
• Perform tolerance chain calculation and kinematic chain analysis
• Perform or check dielectric and mechanical calculation or simulation
• Conduct design review, including DFMEA/DFM/DFA
• Conduct quality case (e.g. switching, insulation related, mechanical) root cause analysis with solid electrical and mechanical knowledge

• Master degree or above in Mechanical engineering or other related majors
• Experienced with manufacturing and fabrication processes
• More than 3-year-experience mechanical design.
• Experienced at tolerance chain calculation and kinematic chain analysis
• Familiar with metal material properties and experienced in selection
• Self-motivated, innovative, structured and systematic thinking, good communication skills and team spirit
• Strong result-driven, high quality and high speed player
• Good oral/writing English preferred
