LG Electronics Air Solutions Division is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a R&D Engineering Intern
• Assist with the launching of unitary products in the NA market. The candidate will investigate and benchmark products from competitors and help with strategy for market launch here in US.• Help with new product installation in the R&D lab and follow up with installation issue and come up with improvement in installation after feedback from contractors.

LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.
The internship will be based in the office at the LG Air Solutions office in Alpharetta GA and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.
The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.
The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.
Responsibilities• Aid in investigate and troubleshoot new HVAC prototype installation in the R&D lab, document findings and recommend corrective actions for improvement on the installation.• Investigate product data for Unitary and DFS products from competitors for benchmarking and organize data and features in presentation format• Assist in preparation for service manual, installation manual and engineering manual for US commercialization after product launch for HPWH and heating products
Qualifications• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University• Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program• Ability to multi-task and operate independently.• Experience with one of the following agency certifications (CSA, UL, or DOE) is plus.• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal problem solving and analytical skills.• 3D CAD software knowledge and interpreting drawings with knowledge in GD&T.• Proactive mindset • Proficient, high level skills in Microsoft Power Point and Excel with macro for programming.
