About Ubiquiti

As a Sustaining PM working with Ubiquiti's Taiwan team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining accessory products across multiple product lines. Your primary focus will be on accessories that have entered the mass production phase, ensuring product quality, performance consistency, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer support, to address product-related challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and effective collaboration to support Ubiquiti’s commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Product Maintenance:
    • Oversee the lifecycle management of accessory products post-mass production phase.
    • Ensure that existing accessories meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues affecting product performance or customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to address production and supply chain challenges.
    • Communicate with customer support teams to address user feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
    • Work with PDM to align product strategies with market needs.
  • Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:
    • Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions for recurring product issues.
    • Initiate and manage changes to product specifications, designs, or packages to enhance quality or cost efficiency.
    • Monitor and address end-of-life product transitions while minimizing impact on customers and supply chains.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze product performance data to identify trends and inform decisions.
    • Prepare regular reports on product health, key metrics, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, sustaining engineering, or a similar role.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Familiarity with hardware products, especially accessories such as racks, cables.
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and root cause analysis.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
