Rad Tech Student / Medical Assistant Position Summary

As a member of the care team, the Medical Assistant works to provide patient-centered care delivery. The MA provides initial preparation of patients prior to the provider’s encounter; assists providers in patient care activities as directed; updates/documents and records in the EHR system; relieves/assists the Patient Service Representative as needed; orders and restocks exam rooms and office supplies as needed, and assists office staff with office-specific tasks. 

Rad Tech Student / Medical Assistant Position Requirements

• must be currently enrolled in a Rad Tech program

• Previous physician office experience preferred.

• Experience with electronic health record preferred.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program preferred.

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Rad Tech Student / Medical Assistant Work Schedule

• M-F 8a-8p, Sat/Sun 8a-6p

• Standby requirement is at least 2 full shifts in a 6 week period
