Radiology Tech

Reporting to the Manager of Radiology thisposition provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist indiagnosis or treatment; performs radiographic procedures and relatedtechniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of alicensed practitioner; exercises professional judgment in performance ofservices and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics; appliesappropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential forsuccessful completion of the procedure .

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

None.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

1. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
2. Current CPR certification required.
3. Certification by the State of California (CRT) required.
4. Certification by the State of California in Fluoroscopy required.
5. Certificate ofvenipuncture for contrast media injection required within 6-months of hire ifestablishing new IV access for the purpose of contrast injection.
