In Core Business Range, we have put in the next gear of moving IKEA and making us better together. We have decided that we will focus, simplify and concentrate going forward by placing the product in the center – the core of our assignments. 

In the Range strategy and Identity function within Core Business Range, we have the task to, define, lead, and develop the Range & Communication strategy and set the direction for Range and Product identity for our future range offer – to deliver growth, positioning and enable low cost. Core Business Range is led with the IKEA Range & Communication strategy in the center. 

We are now looking for a strategist with a sharp and creative business mind to join our team in Range Strategy & Identity.

About the job

As Range Strategist your main responsibility is to lead and develop strategic range and business directions that will enable the transformation of the IKEA product range offer – our Identity and that will serve as the guide for future range, product and business development. In this role you will report to the Range strategy manager. 

We expect you to be a dedicated ambassador and speaker for the Range and communication strategy and the IKEA Range identity. To give clarity, inspire, and support our many home furnishing businesses as well as organizations across the IKEA value chain with a close partnership and guidance in key strategic topics.

In our current portfolio you will find various projects connected to the transformation of IKEA´s material agenda and the optimization of IKEA Home furnishing product offer as well as various initiatives with the purpose to identify future opportunities in life at home. Together, we believe that we can turn new opportunities into value for the many - and by that challenge ourselves and create a growing business for IKEA. 

About you

• Ability to develop ideas and concepts that will strengthen the IKEA Brand and make a positive difference in people’s life at home, society, and the world. 

This is a full-time permanent role based in Älmhult. 

The Range Strategist is critical role for the development of our business, and hence we believe that your presence with the team and in our workspace the majority of the time is important.
