The Impact You'll Make in this Role

Improve customer satisfaction by supporting the centralized management and response to Emergent Homecare order requests. This position will work independently and collaboratively with Ship Pending and WCC teams to improve customer satisfaction by fostering strong relationships and taking quick and decisive action. This is a start-up team that will continue to adapt to the changing needs of the organization thru 2023 related to improving customer experience and the supporting metrics.

As a Rapid Response Team Lead Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports daily workflow management related to evaluating and releasing Emergent Orders for placement based on payer requirements and Need By Date (NBD)
    • Obtain and analyze required documentation for shipping of product and billing of claims.
    • Team members will be expected to learn payer requirements in multiple areas of the country
  • Provides a high level of responsiveness to internal and external customers including Requestors, Sales, Service and Patients
  • Support data collection & analysis related to evaluating current Sales and Advantage Center processes
  • Pilot any process changes for Emergent Orders prior to implementation in Ship Pending or WCC
  • Support any & all tasks that may support achieving NBD for Emergent orders
  • Provide backup assistance in Ship Pending & WCC outside of Emergent orders when needed
  • Participates in any & all work activities as deemed suitable and assigned bymanagement.
    • To include completing training to meet the above expectations or to acquire new skills that support the goals of the team

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) an accredited institution
  • One (1) year of Customer Service experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • One (1) year of Intake Specialist experience within Ship Pending or WCC teams
  • Prior experience as Team Lead for Ship Pending or WCC
  • Strong Excel skills (create basic formulas and format spreadsheets)
  • Ability to consistently multi-task and remain highly productive
  • Flexible & Adaptable - with schedule, workflow processes and priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Operates independently with little supervision
  • Strong collaboration and relationship development
  • Typing skills of 35 - 40 wpm minimum

Work location:

San Antonio-Texas

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
