R&D AIOps Specialist (f/m/x)

We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Your main duties will include designing and implementing new features optimizing and maintaining existing code and ensuring the software meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging. You will also work closely with other developers designers and product managers to ensure the software meets user needs.
As an AIOps specialist in the IBM Technology Engineering for SAP Solutions team you are responsible for evaluating supporting and extending AIOps solutions from IBM in the context of SAP solutions running on IBM Power. You will use artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities such as natural language processing and machine learning models to automate and optimize operational workflows that are relevant to customers running SAP solutions on IBM Power. Your responsibilities include:

1. Support IBM Instana IBM Turbonomic or other IBM AIOps solutions with their SAP specific development efforts.
2. Evaluate IBM AIOps solutions for SAP software on IBM Power scenarios and create technical enablement material.
3. Support Business Partners and IBM Technology Sales in corresponding customer opportunities.
4. Work with other IBM teams on a worldwide level to expand the SAP coverage of AIOps solutions.
5. Stay up to date on the latest AIOps technologies and trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• You have experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• You’ll have a strong background in software development with expertise in programming languages such as Java Python or C++ and experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• You should be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving and communication skills able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in IT operations with a focus on monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IBM Power Systems would be helpful.
