R&D Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SW Team leader to join our team to play a pivotal role in our journey. In this capacity, you will provide leadership and direction to a team proficient in Ruby on Rails, React BootStrap and ESBuild.What’s in it for you?

What You'll Do

• Overseeing a team of skilled developers
• Developing and overseeing our CI/CD Pipelines
• Help prioritize company wide initiatives from an R&D perspective.
• Help and looking after the professional growth of the team members.
• Recruiting and training new team members
• Defining improvement goals for the team and leading the team to achieve the goals.
• Working closely with the Product team to review application requirements and write technical specifications for both frontend and backend feature implementation.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture with responsive user interface components
• Own the design, execution, quality, and end-to-end delivery of highly scalable products.
• Improve platform architecture to support current and future initiatives.

Requirements

• Open Source MVC Web framework, like Rail, python's django or php's laravel-Must
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, familiarity with both FE and BE technologies (React, MongoDB/MySQL/CDN/Redis). -Must
• 3 years of experience of tech team leading engineering team
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment with knowledge in AWS services,
•  Knowledge of Docker. 
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD based development. 
• Proactive, highly motivated individual with a high work ethic and goal-oriented approach
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Fast learner, highly organized, and detail-oriented person.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering related field / technology Elite unit alumni with relevant experience.
• Passionate about code design, high-quality code, and code reviews, optimizing and challenging the status quo.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English, good writing skills
• Autodidact, like to learn new things and share with the team.
