Responsibility :

Product Concept Definition :

• '1) Defines and actively participates in product concept definition along with the customers and all other stake holders.

• 2) Validate that the concept defined satisfies user needs and is consistent with acquisition needs.

• 3) Validate constraints of interfacing systems and constraints or limitations of proposed approach.

• 4) Analyze system requirements and validate that the following from implementation perspective.

• a) System functions.

• b) End to end system performance.

• c) Feasibility and testability of the functional requirements.

• d) System architecture design.

• e) Operation and maintenance requirements and environments.

• f) Migration requirements from an existing system where applicable.

Requirements analysis and evaluation :

• Evaluate the stakeholder requirements for correctness consistency completeness readability and testability Approve the Requirements specification.

Product Design :

• '• Identify objectives and define the planning process.

• • Develop solution blueprint – involving partner capabilities in house capabilities and new build.

• • Create in house capabilities to support delivery in these new offerings.

• • Develop business case joint GTM plan with the partner and collaterals.

• • Create artifacts from perspective of technology product domain and infrastructure as applicable.

• • Own and ensure the release of the assets/platforms for internal and external customer including regular support.

• For Products.

• Review and sign off on product design document.

• Prioritize and supervise and track development / QA activities such as architecture design prototyping code implementation trouble shooting and functional testing of product features.

• Institutionalize the development process and track metrics / benchmarks to ensure the quality release of the product.

Implementation :

• ' Provide Governance and guidance & Define & identify standards applicable for the work packages / components.

• Familiarize the team with development environment and CTS and customer specific coding standards guidelines and best practices to be followed through sessions and document sharing.

• Review the code created by team and provide review comments to the developers.

• develop code for core / critical module(s) needed for the project.

• Contribute towards development of framework.

• Develop/ review tier coding business layer coding interface development service development creation of stored procedures etc as applicable for the work package / project.

• Write efficient queries and understand logical and physical data models.

• follow up with Developers to ensure integration of components (input / output).

• troubleshoot critical technical issues.

• Handle escalations related to critical technical issues.

• create detailed tasks for the scope and share timelines for the same with the team.

• track the status of the tasks assigned maintain detailed task information for the work packages owned and do periodic reporting.

• conduct technical review and audit.

• Create quality check points for all deliverables.

• estimate at task level in the area of work concerned measure and report the actual effort against the estimated effort and ensure task progress reporting in C20 or any other applicable tool.

• Prepare and report status for the scope responsible.

• conduct peer reviews in coding and testing phase.

Safety Programming :

• 'Interface with the stakeholders clients Safety Auditors to jointly define the Safety strategies to reduce the risk to an acceptable level.

Process Improvements :

• 1) Generate and discuss ideas with team to bring about any form of value add and share the same with the Managers.

• adhere to process and tools (usage of cognizant 20 awareness of quality management system IDE etc).

• 2) Create and contribute for any proposals on any improvement/enhancement to the Product or Product Development Life Cycle Present the same to client.

• 3) Create and contribute for any proposals based on Roadmaps of the client Present the same to client.

• 4) Identify and reward the performance of the team members.

• 5) Organizing team building activities.

Knowledge Management :

• 1) Contribute/Guide towards updating knowledge assets user manual online help document installation manual / scripts.

• 2) Contribute / search / reuse all types of assets from repository.

• 3) Writing White Papers filing for Patents participating in Technical forums Webinars etc.

• 4) Identify and suggest training programs for the team members.

• 5) Training other team members.

People Management :

• 1) Supporting the manager(s) for identifying the right associate for the given work items.

• Identifying any risks/issues within team on productivity/performance/coordinations and discuss with Project Managers.

• 2) Identifying any risks/issues based on roadmaps impact on the Project etc and discuss with Project Managers.

• 3) Scaling up/down of the team based in project needs.
