Overview

RDS has an exciting career opportunity for an RDS Program Director. The purpose of the RDS Program Director is to support RDS clients and constituents with the completion of all time-sensitive tasks related to the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) program, and to understand all aspects relating to the RDS website and RDS database. The RDS Program Director collaborates directly with the President, RDS Sales Director, clients and vendors.

RDS Services, LLC, an Accretive Company, has been managing the Retiree Drug Subsidy ("RDS") program for plan sponsors since the Medicare Modernization Act was enacted and the RDS program began back in 2005. What You'll Do

Delivery

  • Manage ongoing RDS administration including RDS Reopenings.
  • Manage client accounts.
  • Obtain retiree information from clients, prepare via RDS database, and upload to CMS through the RDS website as needed.
  • Analyze members and claim data.
  • Review and communicate response, weekly notification, and part D notifications to clients.
  • Upload response, weekly notification, and part D notifications into RDS database.
  • Maintain client retiree data in database.
  • Identify and resolve subsidy issues and other administration issues as needed.
  • Understand and interpret "Reason Codes" and give guidance to clients on communicating to Medicare eligible retirees.
  • Coordinate and complete client applications in accordance with established CMS deadlines, request extensions if needed.
  • Coordinate and complete client reconciliations in accordance with established CMS deadlines.
  • Assist in the review of claims data received by carriers (PBMs), make corrections, and submit to CMS for subsidy payment.
  • Communicate important RDS program notifications to clients and complete or assist in updating RDS member information in the CMS website as needed.
  • Responsible for analysis of all RDS reporting outputs including detailed and thorough reviews of deliverables subsequent to established quality control. protocols.

Staff Development

  • Collaborate with data analyst program leader to manage workload, trouble-shoot vendor issues and develop revenue forecasts for President.
  • Train and manage new Account Managers; evaluate their work and competence levels re the RDS Program.

Client/Vendor Management

  • Attend prospect and client meetings and interact with Plan Sponsors as needed whether in person, conference calls or email.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, associated vendors and brokers in order to maintain ongoing client retention and pursue prospective new client opportunities.

Strategy Development

  • Attend meeting as needed with RDS Account Managers/Analysts and company President.
  • Manage new strategic partner initiatives.
  • Oversee systems upgrade with outside IT vendors.
  • Attend meetings as needed with Database Analysts to discuss database issues, changes and updates.

What You'll Need

Minimum of 5+ years in PBM management with a customer service and/or sales field focus.

Bachelor's degree in auditing, management, or information systems a plus.

Pharmacy/Medical claims audit background a plus.
