POSITION SUMMARY:

The retoucher assists the Senior Director of Creative and Brand in identifying and correcting various visual imperfections. The retoucher should be equipped to retouch quickly and accurately and have a keen eye for detail in lingerie and or swim photography. He/She should understand color correction, texture manipulation, and other image editing techniques well. They should also be prepared to work with different types of media, such as print, digital, and the web. The retoucher should know the latest trends in image editing and apply them to photos. They should also be able to work with minimal direction and meet tight deadlines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specializes in post-processing and enhancing fashion photographs to make them look polished, flawless, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Ensure that the daily production supports the business as well as conveys the overall brand marketing messages and creative vision.
• Retouch images for ready-to-wear and still-life products.
• Deliver top-quality content by utilizing optimal retouching approaches.
• Adapt retouching techniques to individual images' complexity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in photography, Graphic Design, or related field/experience
• 3-5 years experience
• Background in lingerie and or swim photography
• Understanding of Adobe Photoshop and image processing software
• Advanced understanding of photography and lighting
• Ability to interpret light, color, volume, and texture
• Ability to perform creative processes in a fast-paced production environment.
