React Native Developer

We are hiring an experienced React Native developer to help manage and develop communication tools for the next generation of LBGTQ+ dating apps. This role is primarily responsible for building custom React Native templates for our advertising and marketing teams, and secondarily responsible for maintaining our static web pages using Webflow.

We are a small, agile company, so the ability to make an impact is significant. This position is ongoing and part time.

What you'll do:

• Develop and deploy templates for ads and marketing alerts using React Native in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Develop new ways to communicate with our users
• Build custom ads on a platform that has a privacy-first model to ensure members’ data isn’t shared with third-party ad networks
• Pair with your teammates to learn and develop together
• Work well within our distributed, global, remote team
• Part time and remote (10-20 hours per week depending on volume of work)

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of general software development experience
• 1+ years of experience with the React Native framework
• 1+ years of web development experience
• Ability to work independently and quickly deliver high-quality ads and alerts on short notice
• Experienced in mobile app development or interested in learning mobile app development

Nice to have:

• Experience with Test & Behavior Driven Development (TDD & BDD)
• Extensive experience with Webflow or similar WYSIWYG web development tools

Pay Range: $25-$40 USD per hour
