React/Java Engineer

What you'll be doing:

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join a modern and exciting program in the DoD space. Working hand in hand with a wide variety of engineers, this team is both modernizing and bringing DoD applications and infrastructure into the cloud. 

We are looking for someone with the following skill set:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience working with Java, with a Spring Boot Middleware.
• Javascript experience, specifically using React.
• Experience in SQL backend architecture such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MS-SQ
• Exposure and/or comfortable with Pair-Programming and Extreme Programming (XP)
• Worked with CI/CD pipelines and with cloud computing services, including AWS.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers including data scientists, UX, product and software engineers
• Strong communication skills along with the ability to work well as a team and enjoy constantly learning and adapting are highly desirable

This is a full time, remote position. Oddball offers a tech and continuing education stipend. This role requires the ability to obtain a low level security clearance.
