Real Estate Analyst

We are looking for an Analyst to help Mint House continue to expand our footprint in the U.S. You will report into the Director of Development Operations and Underwriting and support our deal team. You will be working collaboratively with our CDO, Finance, and Operation teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders. This is a remote position with the understanding you will work east coast hours and travel time to time to HQ and conferences. 

• Work in close concert with our development team to research, analyze and underwrite  potential real estate deals
• Responsible to complete initial opportunity evaluation, build proforma projections and financial models for investment analyses and valuations
• Prepare presentation materials, case studies and work within the team framework to execute transactions
• Maintain deal pipeline database and assist with ad hoc projects at the request of Director of Development Operations and Underwriting, and the Chief Development Officer

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, real estate, hospitality, consulting, feasibility and/or investment analysis, or a related field
• Strong skill set in pro forma financials, excel modeling, PowerPoint presentation and research capabilities
• Ability to work well under pressure, effectively handle multiple demands and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional problem solving, strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Must be detail oriented and quantitative
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working across different business units (client-facing work is also a plus)
• Ability to travel domestically for occasional due diligence and proforma presentations with client stakeholders
