The Role
GTI just keeps growing and growing! We’re seeking a logistical genius and real estate management guru to oversee new retail/dispensary real estate projects. As a Real Estate Project Manager for GTI Retail, you will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the Real Estate Department and our internal cross-functional partners to ensure the scope of work is executed, timelines are achieved, and budgets are always met! You should have off the charts communication skills to work with your teammates and vendors alike. As a proven Real Estate PM, you have a key understanding of real estate pipelines and deal cycles and have managed 20+ projects at a time working across a national landscape.
Responsibilities
- Manage a rolling pipeline of 30+ real estate projects as well as many smaller real estate related projects for existing assets as necessary.
- Analyze, evaluate and understand real estate trends, demographics, laws and rules of a regulated industry.
- Communicate directly with landlords and property managers on lease obligations and approvals.
- Act as the real estate liaison internally with all internal departments ensuring coordination towards common goals while making critical updates and decisions in a professional manner.
- Prepare/update project status reports, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
- Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path.
- Maintain strict adherence to all quality standards and applicable safety regulations and enforce GTI’s corporate quality and community standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, project management, or business related field.
- 2-4 years of real estate or retail project management preferred.
- Expertise managing high-growth multi-site/ multi-state projects.
- Familiar with real estate contract negotiations, due diligence and lease administration.
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in computer estimating, scheduling, and other database applications.
- Ability to manage ad-hoc maintenance projects preferred.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.
- Adapts to change and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTI.
- Able to work a flexible schedule depending on the needs of the business; will require work on weekends and evenings.
