Job Description
Summary
You will serve as a Realty Specialist within the Real Estate Branch, Facilities and Real Estate Division, Office of Strategic Infrastructure, NASA Headquarters to manage, plan, organize, and coordinate NASA real property transactions across the Agency. You will be responsible for supporting and leading real property transactions such as recording new assets, improvements to existing assets and divestments.

Qualifications
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
- researching and applying directives, regulations and policies to effect real property transactions;
- coordinating real property transactions with other stakeholder organizations such as facilities, facilities planning, and finance; and
- conducting real property transactions in real property management system software, such as SAP.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
- processing transfer and/or notification of acceptance of accountability to ensure accuracy of real property transactions;
- coordinating real property functions with government and/or private entities; and
- accepting real property improvements made through construction, transfer, and/or purchase.

This appointment may be extended beyond the initial appointment date, for a period not to exceed a total of six years.
Under the NASA Flexibility Act of 2004, individuals appointed under this announcement may be converted to a permanent appointment, either non-competitively or through internal agency competitive placement procedures.
