The Scoop:
The Financial Rebate Analyst coordinates all activities between account management and Rebate Billing to ensure the organization is accurately managing rebates as defined in client contracts. This position will provide analytical reporting to assist in identifying opportunities to mitigate rebate performance risk for the organization as well as help to identify opportunities to enhance rebate yield to be more competitive. Establishes corporate processes and policies in the monitoring and reporting of rebate guarantees, financial billings and financial yields. Provides support to the Managing Principal, Medicaid PDL and Rebate Strategy when necessary to assist in meeting needs of the organization. Manages projects as assigned that encompass various areas of the organization to ensure objectives are accomplished by specified deadlines.

- Performs analytics and provides recommendations for rebate, cost savings, and/ or revenue opportunities
- Interfaces with Account Teams and Clinical Program Managers to communicate rebate impacts
- Performs complex financial modeling and clearly articulate results to management team
- Manages the overall client list for how rebates are to be billed that is utilized by IT, Industry Relations, and Billing
- Maintains all policy and procedure documents around how rebate guarantees are managed as well as documents the processes to determine rebate outcomes
- Produces drug detail reports by client to properly evaluate financial outcomes pertaining to the Market Check program
- Pulls raw claims data files on a quarterly basis
- Assists Clinical Program Managers with request forms to evaluate impact of formulary and benefit design changes to rebate guarantees
- Pulls formularies and plan designs for specific clients
- Performs quality checks any new client agreements related to rebate guarantees to ensure they align with bid proposal
- Manages quarterly and annual guarantee reports pertaining to rebates
- Ensures responses for Request for Proposal questions are up-to-date in the Proposal library pertaining to rebates
- Manages the rebate billing review process to ensure accuracy and optimization of rebate billing prior to submission to drug manufacturers
- Must have complete understanding of rebate contracts and client contracts to ensure alignment of proper billing
- Validate rebate calculations and customer communication correspondence
- Identifies and implements improvements in rebate processes to reduce costs and increase process effectiveness while maintaining the quality, integrity and commitment to the clients
- Oversees the transmission of data to be used to evaluate rebate outcomes
- Researches and analyzes potential changes for the Company's top Strategic Plans to determine eligibility for rebate invoicing to the appropriate Manufacturer contract and prepare ad hoc analysis to identify drug and plan performance
- Develop analytical processes to ensure consistent support for all custom analytics
- Knowledge management and tracking to ensure historical analyses can be leveraged for quick management reporting
- Provides backup support to the Managing Principal, Medicaid PDL and Rebate Strategy when unavailable
Education and/or Experience
For consideration candidates will need:
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Five (5) plus years' related experience

Ability to pull data and analyze it in an ad-hoc environment. Ability to lead projects that impact various areas.
Travel
This position requires no travel however attendance maybe required at various local conferences and meetings.
