RECENT GRADUATE – MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

We are seeking a recent graduate in mechanical engineering to join our team. Through formal and informal instruction, you will learn Emerson’s flow control products and services business from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will have a recent mechanical, biomedical, or chemical engineering degree and a desire to learn our industrial valves and equipment business. This role is a pathway to account management, sales engineering, and business development.

The Associate Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing existing accounts and providing technical support to customers. This is a technical role with a supply chain and logistics component.

Responsibilities:

• Work with enterprise industrial customers to interpret requests and specifications of mechanical equipment.
• Using your engineering background, actively develop real-world solutions for customers.
• Prepare quotes for mechanical equipment, see through delivery & follow-up.
• Utilize advanced ERP system to perform order entry, acknowledgement, status checking and expediting
• Troubleshoot Emerson flow control products such as control valves and regulators.

• Grow your own business with the support of our Emerson Impact Partner team. Manage and grow existing accounts by developing strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs.
• Provide technical support to customers by answering questions and providing solutions to their problems for Emerson flow control products such as control valves and regulators.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomedical, or chemical engineering.
• Desire to learn more about industrial or manufacturing process equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.
