Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and friendly individual to serve as the first point of contact for our guests at NH Bentota Ceysands Resort. As a receptionist, you will greet and assist guests with a genuine warmth and welcoming demeanor, maintain an immaculate reception area, and become the cornerstone of providing information about our facilities and services.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

• Greet and welcome guests promptly on arrival with a warm demeanor.
• Provide information and directions about the premises and services we offer.
• Maintain an organized, tidy, and welcoming reception area.
• Address and resolve guest issues and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Follow Front Office policies, procedures and service standards
• Promptly and pleasantly handle phone calls and guest messages

Qualifications

• Should be holding a diploma in hospitality management and/or related field 
• Previous experience in a similar capacity from a start class hotel
• Good English communication skills, additional languages would be an advantage
• Preferably with basic working knowledge of OPERA 
• Friendly, outspoken and with pleasing personality 
• Personable and with excellent grooming standards
