Receptionist

Receptionist - Cottingham & Butler 

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist with excellent communication skills and a pleasant personality. This role is crucial in managing our front desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls, forwarding faxes, creating welcome signs for guests, greeting office visitors, and notifying appropriate personnel of their arrival.

Essential Functions:

1. Answer all incoming calls, ask detailed questions, and direct callers to the appropriate person.
2. Greet office visitors, inform relevant personnel of their presence, and prepare welcome signs for special guests. Ensure visitors are escorted past the Receptionist Area.
3. Sort inbound mail, checks, and packages (Airborne, Federal Express, UPS) for distribution. Open Work Comp and PC Claims mail and notify the appropriate person.

Other Functions:

1. Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as requested by office personnel.
2. Maintain a positive and outgoing attitude.
3. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other office software.
• 1-2 years office experience preferred.
