The Opportunity:
Roche Services Americas, a Roche Shared Services Center, provides Finance and Procurement services across numerous countries in the Americas region. The AR Record to Report CRM Analyst position, based in San José, Costa Rica, reports to the Cluster Section Lead CRM NALA. In this role, you will be responsible for executing AR operational activities for the Americas SSC in Costa Rica.
Responsibilities:

Have a deep knowledge of accounts receivable daily tasks and processes, including process flows and systems
-
Propose and coordinate process and system improvements
-
Close communication to global organizations sharing best practices with the team and following through implementations
-
Be able to organize tasks and workload with limited direction
-
Follow the instructions regarding the daily work coordination
Accountabilities:
Coordinate and perform complete, stringent and timely financial tasks including but not limited to:
-
Reconciliation of bank accounts
-
Posting and reconciling of AR transactions
-
Cash application
-
Clearing of AR and bank suspense accounts
-
Creation of Customer Manual Invoice
-
Manual corrections
-
Customer Credit Analysis
-
Maintenance of customer credit Master Data
-
Dispute Management
-
Handling incoming calls and emails in a timely manner
-
Participate in projects as the technical expert of AR processes sharing and discussing AS IS processes

Coordinate and support resolution of gaps found during projects implementation
-
Coordinate and support tests and documentation when participating in projects
-
Seek for cross communication aiming resolution of issues
-
Provide help to team members in need of assistance due to workload or lack of expertise issues

Foster team environment

Support free flow of communication/information within team

Display high integrity on the job and comply with the Roche guidelines.

Perform various assignments in flexible manner as business needs warrant (including cross-geographic or cross-functional tasks that might arise as business evolves)

Actively participate in workshops, meetings and work-related team events.

Who You Are:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area with 4+ years' experience.
-
A solid understanding of accounting and AR processes.Â
-
Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheets applications, and databases (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, G-Suite, etc.)

Knowledge of Finance Shared Services and operational accounting processes and related technology systems (e.g.. SAP, BlackLine, SNOW etc.) is desired. SAP experience highly preferred

Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively, adhere to tight and established deadlines
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Ability to perform work with limited direction and guidance.
-
Ability to prioritize effectively and multitask, meet all deadlines and manage up.

Works well with others and follows through to execute all tasks.

Language: English & Spanish required, Portuguese is a plus.
