Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for preparation, filing and scanning of paper files to electronic images.
  • Operate scanners to scan and archive records.
  • Train new personnel in quality standards and operation of scanners.
  • Release information to authorized personnel, following established processes and procedures.
  • Assist in operation of Records Department protocols as relative to reception, storage and destruction of records in various formats.
  • Operate industrial shredder for secure destruction of documents.

  • Handle records in accordance with the records management requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access to maintain database records using the records management and case processing system.

  • Strict attention to maintaining equipment and quality control of processed documents.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years of general office experience
  • Experience with general office equipment including computers, scanners, copiers and phones
  • Experience in records management equipment preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
