Agile Decision Sciences (ADS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Records Management Specialist 3 to join our team in San Francisco. ADS supports a nationwide program providing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with library and records management services.
- Imaging records
- Utilizing a records management system (database) for search, retrieval, and data entry.
- Applying records retention schedules to files for the purposes of retention, archiving and disposition.
- Responding to customer inquiries and participating in records organization projects.
- Assisting colleagues with preparing and shipping large batches of records to off-site storage.
- Maintaining daily activity statistics and producing monthly activity reports.

Requirements

- College degree (BA/BS) and three years records management experience is required.Experience with at least one automated information system is required. NARA certification desirable.
- Experience with scanning equipment and the ability to resolve scanning problems as they occur
- Customer service skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail required.
- Ability to work independently and on teams, to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, to prioritize and manage multiple on-going projects, to quickly adapt to change, and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work in a quiet environment
- Physical requirements include full range of arm motion, including lifting above the head, ability to bend, stoop and kneel, ability to routinely lift and carry 40-50 lbs. in weight, to push or pull 500 lbs. on carts, ability to use step stool to reach materials on upper shelves. Candidate should also be comfortable sitting at computer workstation for long periods of time.
Additional Qualifications:
- US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident status in order to pass a government sponsored background investigation.
