Summary
About the position:
This position is located at the Arts and Crafts Center, Spangdahlem AB, Germany.
This is a flexible position (0-40 hours per week). Work schedule is Monday through Friday, including occasional weekends and holidays.
Military Spouse Preference is not lost if selected for this position.
This is a developmental position. Incumbent will be non-competitively promoted to target grade (NF-02) upon satisfactory completion of training period as determined by the supervisor.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires continuous standing, walking and stooping. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20lbs and frequently lift and move heavier items with the assistance of other workers.
Qualifications
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and legal US residents in Germany. Recruitment limited only to the local commuting area of Spangdahlem. Legal U.S. residents must possess a social security number or green card and must be:

- A citizen of NATO country, other than the host country (Germany), and married to an active duty U.S. military member.

Qualifying Experience:
This is a developmental position.
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures.
Ability to safeguard and handle cash, operate a cash register, and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities is desirable. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
Additional information
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

- Probationary period may be required.
