About the Position: Located at the Bowling Center, RAF Fairford. We are hiring for both seasonal and permanent roles!
Seasonal Positions: Ideal for those with other commitments, such as school. Work during school breaks or intermittently throughout the year.

Qualifications
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and legal US residents in the United Kingdom. Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country.
United Kingdom citizens are not eligible for this position per the SOFA agreement, for positions available to United Kingdom citizens please look on RAF Mildenhall's CPO page.
Must be able to provide documentation proving residence status overseas. Documentation could include PCS Orders, UK Visa, etc.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of bowling center operations including the rules related to bowling and organization of leagues and tournaments.
- Knowledge of bowling machinery and equipment and bowling lane care.
- Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and possess skill in dealing with the public.
- Prior experience in basic supply techniques is desirable.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
Additional information
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
- Probationary period may be required.
- Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from hiring preferences and priority consideration eligible.
- Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement for up to 60/90 days after the closing date. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.
- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
- LQA is not authorized.
- Post Allowance is authorized for Regular Full Time employment category.
- This is a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) position carrying out Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force.
