Position Summary

We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team and support the staffing needs across our Linetec and Wausau Window and Wall Systems businesses. This recruiter will primarily focus on high volume production/hourly recruiting, while also flexing to support other positions as needed. They will source and screen candidates and oversee the full selection and hiring process. They will partner closely with department leaders to develop a staffing plan specific to their area, while also engaging candidates and enhancing our brand in the Central Wisconsin area. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, results driven, able to work independently, can think outside the box, and has strong communication skills.

This role is full-time and based in Wausau, Wisconsin. This individual must be able to work onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and ideal candidate profiles
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the business
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and advise them on the talent landscape and recruiting strategies
  • Interview and assess applicant's skills and qualifications against the job requirements
  • Effectively utilize our ATS (Workday Recruiting) to track and manage the recruiting process
  • Create job postings and advertisements that effectively market the available roles
  • Develop strong external networks and bring new strategies and out of the box thinking to source and secure talent
  • Establish routines to ensure ongoing communication with hiring managers and other internal partners
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting and hiring process
  • Report on key sourcing and recruiting metrics and leverage data and analytics to inform future recruiting strategies
  • Coordinate recruiting activity with staffing agencies and serve as primary contact
  • Champion our diversity & inclusion strategy and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Previous recruitment experience highly preferred; manufacturing industry a plus
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures, including legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements highly preferred
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other related platforms highly preferred (Workday Recruiting a plus)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment/Travel Requirements

Mostly an office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Travel requirements are infrequent.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
