Job Description

Position Summary

The Corporate Recruiter will report directly to the HR Director with primary responsibility being to recruit, screen, and interview candidates to fill organizational roles. The individual is responsible for assisting with implementation and administration of recruitment programs which include: listing job postings on job boards, corporate career web sites, and other recruiting outlets; researching new technologies related to active recruitment; network and develop strong working relationships within the community; and work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process. The HR Recruiter will also assist with the administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs - carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), onboarding, training/development, and benefits,. He/she will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department.

Expectations

  • Ensures that staffing requirements are met to identify, attract and onboard new hires.
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.
  • Prepare and list job postings.
  • Review and assess applicant's education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
  • Schedule and complete phone screen interviews.
  • Schedule personal interviews and coordinate interview with the hiring manager's/hiring team's work schedule.
  • Review current applicant test modules, research current applicant tools and make recommendations as needed. Will also score applicants and gather feedback from other interviewers.
  • Verify employment eligibility, gather necessary paperwork, and perform reference and background checks.
  • Schedule and complete the onboarding process, new hire orientations and new hire paperwork depending on recruiting/hiring volume.
  • Build community outreach relationships for recruiting purposes.
  • Able to produce reports for internal use and external filing as requested
  • Maintains professionalism while negotiating changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to research questions and provide accurate information in response to employee inquiries while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Support existing HR workflows and processes including but not limited to: CORE Values; EZ Labor; Educational Programs Life Office Management Association (LOMA); Payroll, Audits; Annual Benefit roll-out and enrollment, etc...
  • Adhere to FTJ Policies & Procedures, including but not limited to Corporate Mission Statement, Corporate Values and Corporate Code of Conduct
  • Knowledge of state/national DOL standards/regulations

Requisites

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ yrs. experience in Recruiting for all roles with I.T. Specialist experience.
