About the Role 

As an Recruiter, Japanese you will be responsible for the full cycle recruiting of international talent to fulfill JustAnswer’s Expert acquisition needs. The individual in this role will source for Experts using a variety of passive and active methods, screen applicants for minimum qualifications and activate newly admitted Experts onto our platform. This role directly impacts JustAnswer’s global reach by working closely with the Acquisition team to help get Japanese-language applicants through the process. This is a part-time role with the option to work fully remote.  

What You’ll Do 

  • Create and update job posts
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant recruiting sources to identify passive Experts in specific specialties and professions (e.g., doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, computer technicians)
  • Review and contact qualified sourced candidates with the goal of getting them to apply to become an independent contractor for JustAnswer
  • Manage the applicant funnel in our internal applicant tracking system
  • Screen sourced and organic applicants for minimum qualifications and administer the credential verification process
  • Conduct weekly informational sessions for qualified applicants
  • Conduct training tutorials for newly admitted Experts
  • Track new Expert performance and provide guidance if needed 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 2+ years of experience working in recruiting or related field
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and job boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Knowledge of sourcing methods such as Boolean search
  • Native language fluency in English and Japanese
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting passive candidates for the Japanese market
  • Experience using Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations applicable to sourcing, recruiting, screening, and hiring of independent contractors
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a sourcing or recruiting role is preferred

Work Environment

JustAnswer US has adopted a remote-first/full-remote work environment from most US-based locations. Some teams do occasionally have the option to meet in-person for teaming, collaboration, or social events.
