Job Description
IERUS specializes in R&D and low-volume production of electromagnetic spectrum technologies, primarily for RF, IR, and optical applications. IERUS also supports customers with a diverse set of competencies including software development, air and missile defense, systems engineering, and strategic consulting. IERUS is currently seeking a full time Recruiting Coordinator to support the IERUS Recruiting team, Human Resources, Hiring Managers, and Business Development. The successful candidate will partner with Recruiters to drive candidate location strategy and build sustainable talent pools. The Recruiting Coordinator will proactively identify potential candidates, and uses time and cost-effective sourcing techniques to attract applicants. Will help Recruiters review applications, prequalifying technical applicants, scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, administrative support as needed, and more. The Recruiting Coordinator will also help support customer screening processes including resume redaction, candidate submission, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and any additional responsibilities to assist IERUS, our customers, or the candidate.
IERUS Recruiting is agile and innovative recruiting support staff who enjoys advising and collaborating with colleagues on the Recruiting team, Human Resources, Hiring Managers, and Business Development.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Recruiting Team, Human Resources, and the Hiring Managers in sourcing, pre-qualifying, and referring suitable candidates;
- Provides sourcing assistance to large-volume recruitment projects;
- Representing IERUS through networking events, recruiting events, industry events, and community events to identify candidates;
- Design and implement sourcing strategies;
- Identify, contacts, and pre-screens candidates for assigned positions;
- Ensure all pipelines and sources of candidates have been engaged via employee referrals, veteran hiring resources, career fairs, and more;
- Partnering with the Business Development team and technical execution teams on resume sourcing, candidate presentation, candidate marketing, and staffing request responses;
- Assist in developing and posting recruiting materials posting on internal and external forums;
- Maintain Sourcing Spreadsheets and submit to Recruiters on a weekly basis;
- Assist IERUSโ social media outlets;
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of two years of sourcing or recruiting experience;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines;
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically;
- Excellent organization skills;
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, utilizing LinkedIn networking, and other external job boards;
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired Qualifications:
- Technical sourcing experience, preferably with experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, physics, mathematics, and optics disciplines;
- Preferred experience in the defense industry.
