-Position: Recruiting Coordinator

-Shift: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed

-Pay: $37,440 - $40,000 (depending on skills and experience). Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.

This is primarily an administrative position within the DHL Mid-South Regional Resource Center, working with a team of Recruiting professionals to support multiple DHL supply chain facilities in the region.

The preferred candidate will have:

-A minimum of one years' experience performing administrative duties within a client-facing, fast-paced office environment.

-Intermediate or higher skills in Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word. Experience with an Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) is highly desired.

-Excellent Customer service skills and ability to multi-task and manage work tasks in a timely manner.

-Ideal candidates will have worked within a recruiting or staffing environment in a logistics, distribution, supply chain or similar industry.

Recruiting Coordinator

Job Description

Recruiting Coordinator provides superior customer service during the coordination & completion of process steps associated with candidate interviews, the offer process, and the post-acceptance processes. This person will manage the system usage, audit the process, & validate the data from the applicant tracking system. Help to train new users of system and work with the Recruiters to make sure all viable applicants are handled properly.

  • Provide a professional environment with relation to external customers
  • Assist walk-in traffic at the Recruiting Center
  • Assist candidates with new applications
  • Monitor pre-employment screenings and communicate with candidates in process
  • Review and adjudicate completed pre-employment screenings
  • Maintain tracking documents for seamless transition of duties between coordinator and recruiter
  • Provide backup support to recruiters in verification of employment qualifications, any pre-hire screening requirements, background checks and drug screens.
  • Provide backup support to recruiters in preparation of offer letter and launch/monitor pre-hire paperwork in the system.
  • Assist in building the New Hire Orientation list each week (will add cleared candidates to the list as they have cleared)
  • Meet and greet new hires on 1st day at Recruiting and Training Center
  • Assist new hires with onboarding documents
  • Assist in completing I9 and Everify for new hires including completion of new hire record
  • Contact any scheduled candidates who did not attend new hire orientation to reschedule
  • Contact/confirm RSVPs for RC hiring events
  • Participate in job fairs and networking opportunities with the community
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School education, required
  • Associates Degree, preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • 1+ years of experience in a recruiting/ HR environment
