We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to act as a first impression for the company and partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a white-glove, high-touch candidate experience. We currently operate in a hybrid working model and this person will be expected to be in the office in San Francisco at least 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
WHAT YOU'LL DO:As a Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout their recruiting journey at Retool. In this role, you will primarily support our Engineering, Product, and Design teams to handle all interview logistics – from coordinating interviews to scheduling debriefs, you’ll execute each interaction with professionalism that embodies Retool’s brand and culture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Coordinate and schedule interviews: Manage the end-to-end interview scheduling process, including candidate communication, interview panel coordination, room booking, and day-of troubleshooting
- Ensure a smooth interview experience for candidates and interviewers
- Own and maintain our Interviewer training and calibration app for our Engineering teams
- Own coordination of post-interview activities, including candidate debriefsÂ
- Execute with an incredible eye for detail and catch errors before they occur
- Create and share candidate prep materials
- Partner with other recruiting team members to build new or iterate on old processes
- Keep an eye out for inefficiencies or areas of opportunity and tackle them in stride
- Communicate verbally and in written format with great attention to detail and clarity
- Attend weekly recruiting team meeting
- 1+ years of professional experience in an admin/coordination-based roleÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree preferredÂ
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with varying degrees of stakeholdersÂ
- Excellent attention to detail, i.e. you rarely have to do the same work twice
- Ability to troubleshoot on the fly and can unblock yourself
- An innate sense of urgency
- Ability to own and work across several different workstreams without missing a beat
