Recruiting Coordinator

General Purpose:
The Recruiting Coordinator handles full cycle recruiting of and logistics for one or more of the following: attorneys, summer clerks, paralegals, and select tax or government specialists among all H&H offices. Works with attorneys, paralegals, staff, summer clerks, applicants, law schools, and regional offices in implementing firm's recruiting functions. This role may focus specifically on lateral attorney recruiting or law student recruiting.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinates law student recruiting activities and efforts for all H&H offices. May be asked to limitedly support additional recruiting for attorney, paralegal, select tax and/or government specialists based on needs of the team.
- Coordinates law student recruiting programs and On Campus Interviewing (OCI) participation, including registrations, interviewer packets, interviewer confirmations, and outreach with law school representatives. Participates in pre-OCI events, including law student networking, employer expos, and other law school outreach opportunities. Responds to inquiries from law students about the firm and employment opportunities.
- Coordinates law student interview schedules, including sending calendar invitations and confirmation communications with students and attorneys.
- Collaborates with Director and Manager to design and execute annual summer clerk program, including regularly communicating with summer clerks prior to and during summer program, building summer program teams, planning large scale events with vendors and attorneys, tracking expenses, producing summer-program related videos and graphics, and maintaining consistent communication with summer clerks and their teams. Additional participation in summer program-related events, programs, and meetings as needed.
- Distributes and collects post interview evaluations; provides evaluation summaries to hiring partners.
- Conducts reference and fact checks.
- Serve as a member of recruiting-focused committees as appropriate; Contributes to the preparation for such meetings.
- Supports Director and Recruiting Manager in developing and monitoring recruiting strategies and in carrying out the firm's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Works with Financial Services to disburse bar stipends to eligible incoming entry-level associates.
- Monitors market trends and keep Director and Recruiting Manager apprised of trends in attracting and retaining top talent, planning events, and other relative industry intelligence.
- Assumes primary responsibility for accurately entering data into recruitment databases, generating reports, correspondence, schedules, and other data requests as requested by Director and Recruiting Manager.
- As needed, provides support in strategy and coordination for law school recruiting and annual summer clerk program.
- Provides administrative support for all special projects, as requested.
- Other duties as needed to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission and abide by the values of the organization.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of law school recruiting and summer program administration, or law school career services experience, required
- 3-5 years of prior law firm or recruiting experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude
- Independent thinker; ability to be flexible
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, particularly regarding interview scheduling.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Creative thinker with ability to use design programs
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Quickly responds and adapts to time-sensitive scheduling changes and urgent attorney and/or candidate requests related to upcoming interviews.
- Experience coordinating programs for multi-office locations
- Excellent computer and software skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook required
- Preferred experience with viRecruit, viDesktop, and UKG
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

Work Environment:

Schedule:
At this time this position allows for a hybrid schedule and our team members are expected to be in the office Mondays and Thursdays, with flexibility to switch days as needed with approval. Additional days in-office may be required depending on business need and the demands of specific tasks. The hybrid work structure may change at any time, including the number of in-office days requirement.

Holland & Hart offers of employment take into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Colorado Salary Range - $22.42 to 37.37. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
