Position Overview
This position will provide dedicated support in executing recruiting processes and programs across the firm. This opportunity provides great breadth and variety in objectives across the year and will focus at any given time on real-time interview process coordination, on-campus and intern programming, and full-time analyst recruiting programming, among other strategic projects. Successful candidates for this role will have experience providing recruiting support to demanding teams, with a focus on excellent client service delivery, thoughtful and timely execution of deadlines and deliverables, strong attention to detail, and best practice implementation. There will be a high potential for growth over time in this seat, as this individual will support the build-out of a best-in-class recruiting function and contribute to recruiting team-wide projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- With direction from Recruiter, action steps to plan and execute recruiting processes and programs throughout the year
- Own scheduling and logistics-related communication with candidates, external search firm partners, and campus contacts
- Create and implement complex project plans for critical recruiting programs which involve cross-functional collaboration within Farallon as well as external stakeholders and service providers
- Manage organization of recruiting-related data and information, including prospecting strategies and technologies that will enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Own applicant tracking system data entry and ensure updates are timely and complete
- Plan and execute targeted on campus recruiting programs, including travelling to campus, hosting virtual events, and identifying creative ways to attract and connect with top investing candidates during their undergraduate years
- Contribute to Recruiting team projects and process improvements, providing ideas and completing action items as needed
- Partner with the broader HR/Recruiting team on diversity recruiting initiatives
- Uphold a best-in-class candidate experience from application to onboarding, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the recruiting process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a track record of academic excellence
- At least 2 years of campus or experienced hire recruiting in a related industry; experience with both is preferred
- Experience managing internal and external recruiting process stakeholders
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Expertise in using ATS, CRM, and requisite Microsoft Office programs
- Intellectually curious and excited to learn new skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity; tenacious, and determined to achieve goals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing excellent work product
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach
- Willingness to action what is necessary to complete objectives (“no task too small” mindset)
- Ability to develop clearly defined plans of action including deliverables, milestones, and project plans
- Passion for recruiting and talent assessment, particularly in the investment management industry
- Impeccable professional judgement and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion as required
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and expertise. The base annual salary range for this San Francisco-based position is expected to be $80,000 to $110,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus. The firm offers an attractive benefits package including, medical, dental, and vision insurance plans and a retirement pension and savings plan.
