We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager for our growing organization. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will lead and manage the recruiting team, perform full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing for all aspects of our organization’s external recruiting function, internal resource management processes, and staff augmentation efforts. This key role requires a self-directed and highly motivated professional who has the unique ability to operate strategically as well as tactically in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. The selected candidate will not only demonstrate his/her ability to manage every phase of the talent acquisition process, but they will also possess strengths in human and technical change management techniques to facilitate a successful and scalable recruiting and staffing organization as the company expands and grows.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, training, and guidance to the recruiting team.
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment of cleared and non-cleared positions. In consultation with the hiring managers, develop recruiting strategies to fill the positions.
- Partner with managers to review business needs to develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for current and future open positions.
- Actively source for candidates using creative recruiting techniques including job boards, social media, cold calling, job fairs, networking and engaged outreach to community organizations to attract potential candidates.
- Screen and evaluate applicants’ work history, education, training, skills, and compensation needs to ensure the best candidates meet the requirements for the positions.
- Conduct a professional and responsive approach to customer relationship when interfacing with candidates and hiring managers. Establish and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, and other human resources team members to strategize the hiring of key personnel positions.
- Ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruiting lifecycle by remaining responsive and by providing excellent customer service.
- Serve as the contact person for questions from candidates.
- Schedule interviews, extend offers of employment and pre-employment processes.
- Possess tact and diplomacy in closing offers.
- Review and ensure that job postings are published in a professional representation.
- Implement, measure and report key recruitment metrics; develop strategies to improve productivity goals and mitigate risk.
- Participate in ongoing performance management of direct reports.
- Travel 20%.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
- A minimum of five years of related experience in staffing or talent acquisition. (Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Proven track record of leading successful recruiting teams, balancing team leadership with hands-on recruiting.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
- Knowledgeable and skillful in social media sourcing, networking, and virtual recruiting. Familiar with sourcing candidates from Google, LinkedIn, and other resume databases.
- Must be a team player with experience working virtually with team members across various time zones.
- Ability to research and define sourcing strategies for critical and hard to fill positions.
- Excellent sales skills, persuasive, and charismatic.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload volume. Must be results oriented, self-motivated, organized, innovative, resourceful and have a high level of integrity and ethics and sense of urgency to deliver quality services.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems required.
- Experience working with Greenhouse ATS strongly preferred.
- Knowledgeable of equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other Federal and State compliance requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
