The position: The Recruiting Specialist at ISN will assist with full cycle recruiting efforts for our Operational Support, Contractor Development, Client Development, HSEQ, and Insurance & Risk Management and International Teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices and principles
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience working with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System or related ATS
  • Experience developing effective job postings
  • Experience with international recruiting (Canada, UK, Australia) a plus

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate full cycle recruiting efforts including semi-annual university recruiting, staffing agency management, interview coordination and maintaining the company’s applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
  • Attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods
  • Manage relationships with third-party recruiting vendors
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates within the framework of the position specifications
  • Develop job descriptions and release job postings on recruiting platforms
  • Assist with drafting offer letters
  • Develop sourcing strategies for new and existing requisitions
  • Build pipelines of candidates for specific skill sets such as customer services, sales, health and safety, operational support, etc.
  • Make contact and follow up with candidates to create and maintain interest in positions
  • Use applicant tracking database, internet recruiting databases, networking, and advertising to identify qualified candidates
  • Maintain departments on sourcing strategies, expectations, timelines, deliverables, and other components of the recruiting/hiring process
  • Participate in special project/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for open positions
  • Assist with employee onboarding efforts including monitoring offer responses, ordering, and monitoring pre-employment screenings, assigning paperwork, communicating onboarding logistics to new hires and internal teams, completing Form I-9 and E-Verify, and ensuring all onboarding paperwork is complete and saved to the employee’s file in the HRIS
  • Assist in compiling and evaluating HR metrics
  • Provide assistance in reviewing and researching area and industry compensation trends
  • Achieve a deep understanding of the business strategy, goals and objectives and support organizational changes by recommending, developing, and implementing appropriate plans for recruiting, employee training and development, and general employee relations

The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the country, with a wide variety of excellent schools, entertainment venues, sports teams, and museums. ISN’s headquarters is in uptown Dallas, a short walk from multiple restaurants and shops, with easy access to public transportation and major highways.

Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office and be willing to come into the office for required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings.
