Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking an experienced and professional Recruiting/Sales Manager to join our team! As the Recruiting Sales Manager, you will provide leadership to technical recruiters and support staff, driving the sourcing, recruitment, interview, selection, hiring, and placement of candidates to meet our customer needs in the National Security sector. Your expertise in building high-performing teams, motivational speaking, time management, technical discussions, and sales will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our recruitment efforts.

As the Recruiting Sales Manager at Caribou Thunder, you will play a critical role in building and leading a high-performing recruiting/sales team. You will provide motivational speaking and urgent time management skills to drive the team's success. Your ability to engage in technical discussions with business leaders and potential candidates will help attract and secure top-tier talent. You will demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and thrive on identifying gaps, developing fresh strategies, and overcoming challenges.

In this role, you will prioritize and delegate tasks, set expectations and personnel goals, and establish and achieve quotas to drive sales growth. Your success in meeting and exceeding financial targets will be crucial to the company's growth. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, engaging in mission-critical conversations and providing expertise in recruiting and sales.

  • Create a process to solicit referrals from internal and past employees, as well as the existing talent pool
  • Stay updated on industry networking events, college recruiting, veteran activities, and other relevant events to attract top-tier talent
  • Develop a system to track the success and challenges of each team member
  • Deliver daily individual and team metrics to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Execute a social media recruiting strategy
  • Conduct phone screens, and interviews, and establish professional relationships with candidates
  • Grow, mentor, and lead a high-performing recruiting sales team
  • Command full-cycle recruiting, including federal/state/local employment laws, policies, and procedures
  • Source and place best-in-class technical engineers
  • Build key customer relationships with sub-contract teams, hiring managers, technical leads, and program leads
  • Serve as the ambassador for Caribou Thunder, effectively communicating the company's history, present, and future offerings
  • Create and deliver well-defined recruiting strategies
  • Drive daily workflows and utilize ATS platforms effectively
  • Provide constructive feedback on performance evaluations, recruiting strategies, best practices, and problem-solving
  • Develop and implement Company branding recruiting strategies
  • Facilitate successful onboarding, offboarding, discipline, and terminations

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Security+ CE certification
  • Primary Systems Administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms
  • Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs
  • Creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work after hours and on weekends as needed

Preferred Requirements

  • Exceeding sales quotas
  • SHRM Certified Professional or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
  • SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential
  • Technical recruiting experience
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer
