The firm is currently hiring for a Recruitment and Associate Integration Coordinator in our Birmingham, AL office. This role will provide valuable support to our associate recruiting, including Burr's Summer Law Clerk program, as well as professional development activities. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Coordinate with law school career development offices to participate in On-Campus Interviewing and other recruitment events.
  • Assist in the setup and execution of interviews, including on-campus interviews and lateral candidates.
  • Participate and plan Burr recruitment events throughout the year, including contacting vendors, restaurants, event venues, and executing other logistics necessary to plan recruitment activities.
  • Assist the recruitment team in implementing with the firm's overall recruiting strategy, including corresponding with candidates and incoming attorneys; preparing presentations; managing summer work projects; and coordinating the Mentorship program for incoming associates.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders and firm leadership to ensure associates meet their practice benchmarks for their first two years.
  • Assist with logistics necessary to execute professional development programming, including CLE when applicable.
  • Represent Burr as needed on law school campuses and other recruitment events.
  • Conduct market research regarding compensation and other key recruitment data.
  • Assist with the management, communication, and coordination of recruiters.
  • Other responsibilities as needed

THE ESSENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of recruiting experience; experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with varied audiences.
  • Ability to work after-hours, particularly during the summer months.
  • Some travel required.
  • Highly organized, detail-orientated, proactive with a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the team.
  • Balance competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, exercising patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
